Assured Periodic Tenancy
The Assured Periodic Tenancy includes a Written Statement of Terms given in accordance with the Assured Tenancies (Private Rented Sector) (Written Statement of Terms etc and Information Sheet) (England) Regulations 2026.
This written statement sets out the tenancy terms and other information which landlords are required to give tenants before they enter into an Assured Periodic Tenancy agreement on or after 1 May 2026, as required by section 16D of the Housing Act 1988 and paragraph 7(2) of Schedule 6 to the Renters’ Rights Act 2025.
This information is included in Part 1 of this agreement. This includes important details about the landlord, the property, the rent, when it should be paid, the deposit amount, as well some statutory obligations.
