The Common Law Agreements - Company Let & High Rent Agreements are not covered by any of the statutory regimes that give tenants security of tenure. The templates can be used for both furnished and unfurnished houses and flats. The Agreements are similar to our AST templates but they differ in three important respects. Firstly, they do not require the landlord to comply with Tenancy Deposit Protection. Secondly, the Company Let allows the property to be occupied by employees or directors of the company; Thirdly, the Tenant Fees Act 2019 does not apply.
